Ferry Potty is a Paint-Your-Own-Pottery Studio located in the beautiful seaside town of Broughty Ferry. We offer a relaxing environment for all ages to come and let your imagination take hold, as you create your very own painted masterpiece.
Whether by yourself, with friends, or as a treat for the kids, Ferry Potty is the perfect place to let your creativity run wild.
Ferry Potty is a 'walk-in' studio, and your welcome just to turn up for pottery painting, however booking is advised to avoid disappointment during busy periods and private events. (Weekends and Holidays can be particularly busy!)
Booking is necessary for baby hand and footprint appointments.

Pick! We have a large selection of pottery to choose from. All of the pottery is individually priced and includes studio time, glaze paints used, and clear glazing and firing at our workshop.
We have a range of pottery starting from £16.
Once you’ve decided on your pottery bisque, it’s time to get creative!
Paint! Once you’ve selected your pottery, we have a wide range of vibrant paint glaze colours to choose from. A member of staff will guide you through the process and be on hand to help with any questions you might have.
All of the brushes and tools are provided, to ensure you have everything you need for your pottery painting experience!
Collect! We’ll fire your pottery piece in our kilns right here in Broughty Ferry, and have it ready for collection around a week later - we'll send you a text when it's ready.
Once your masterpiece has been collected and is back home, it's time to start using it! Your pottery is food safe and can be washed by hand.
PRINTS
Pottery! Capture those tiny prints forever in some ceramic art – a perfect keepsake, or a gift for family and friends. We have lots of items suitable for baby hand and footprints, including tiles, mugs, frames and clocks. Each item can be beautifully hand painted by us with names and artwork. The prints will be captured in glaze paint and fired to create memories that will last a lifetime. Give us a call for availability!
Clay! These imprints into wet clay capture not only the size of the little hands, but also the textures and detail to create a lasting memory. The clay is dried out over a period of several weeks, before being fired and hand painted by us to your own bespoke design. The process for clay imprints takes approx. 6-8 weeks to complete. Appointments are necessary to make sure you get the perfect keepsake. Prices start from £37.

Wedding Horseshoes can be fully personalised with the couples name, date and a special message. We can even match a colour scheme for the day!
